From vendor to strategic partner: The Incubator Program at HumanGood

Last month, Cubigo took part in the incubator program where Las Ventanas, a HumanGood community hosted Cubigo. For a month, a Cubigo team member lived on-site in the community, interacting with all key stakeholders. The objective of the program was to improve the resident and team member experience at Las Ventanas, by focusing on 3 key tracks: Product, People & Processes. 

Our Business Operations Manager, Indira Vanhulle, shared her experience of living and working for 3 weeks at Las Ventanas:

I lived in the community like an Undercover Boss; I felt part of the Las Ventanas family as I was immersed in the daily life of team members and residents. I met many people from various backgrounds, and I valued the different perspectives shared along the way.

What I enjoyed most was connecting with the Las Ventanas team and residents and understanding their needs for a fulfilling life and work in a senior living community. By connecting the dots based on what I learned, I truly felt I was making a difference. I was able to offer the LV team streamlining of their responsibilities and I helped residents understand how digital tools can make their lives easier.

The program even triggered the curiosity of people who are not tech-savvy. Team members and residents began to proactively brainstorm and suggested many new ideas to enhance the product offering. The Incubator program was an invaluable experience for Cubigo, in helping us understand how the platform and apps are used. For Las Ventanas/HumanGood residents and staff there was growth and fun.  parties learned from each other to essentially serve the residents better in an innovative way. It's exciting to be part of a journey that contributes to the future of successful senior living.

  • Reinforcement of post-pandemic connection → Increase in engagement, communication, and connection in the wider community by boosting chat functionality, information sharing, AND introducing Las Ventanas Live (virtual daily video format where up-to-date news of the community is shared in an energetic setting) on the Cubigo’s newsfeed
  • Improvement of internal processes 
  • Testing and enabling new features
  • Increasing awareness and adoption
  • Taking digital transformation to the next level
