Cubigo Expansion into Canada
In the past years, Cubigo has been expanding in the US and UK in order to best serve our customers abroad. Our recent contracts with Canadian senior living providers also demanded a permanent presence in Canada.
This, coupled with promising trends in technology use among older adults in Canada (in 2019, 58% of Canadians aged 65+ own smartphones) and Canadians’ positive attitude to technology (93% of smartphone owners aged 65+ find them easy to use and 6 in 10 Canadians aged 50+ believe the impact of technology on society is positive) also made this move a logical next step. Thus, in order to provide better services and create new projects, we opened our Toronto office.
This new location not only gives us the opportunity to interact with our clients more frequently and follow the entire implementation process side-by-side, it also allows us to bring our expertise closer to you.
Cubigo co-hosted an exclusive event with Apple on the transformation of senior living in January. Apple presented their ideas on the new innovations in the industry, which was followed by a demo of Cubigo's newest features by our CEO, Geert Houben. The event concluded with a Fireside Chat with the Amica CMO, Sean Taggart. Amica will have Cubigo's new POS module implemented in its residences this month.
