Cubigo’s Best 2020 Features
It’s been a difficult, but fruitful year that turned out to be positive for Cubigo and its partners. Despite all the challenges, we tried to make the day to day work of senior living communities easier and better by improving the Cubigo platform for all its users.
Our product team worked hard to make this happen and spent 225 hours in standup meetings, released 29 updates with more than 250 new features and the availability of the platform was 99,96%.
Some highlights of the year
A new point of sales (POS) module
The new POS module enables dining teams to manage the complete dining service. Servers can assign restaurant guests (residents, family, visitors) to a table, take the order and send it to the kitchen, process it, and finally manage the payment of all orders. Administrators can check the real live census and up-to-date metrics about the dining service.

Cubigo’s Visitor Management module has been implemented in more than 300 Senior Living Communities in 2020 and has proven not only to be a great way of organizing family visits but also to provide a tremendous opportunity to connect with family members through the Cubigo platform.
Corporate News Sharing
With Cubigo’s new Corporate Sharing feature, support offices can share news items to all their communities with one click of a button. They can also share articles directly in every community’s news feed, they have the option to publish it on the Digital Signages screens.
Virtual activities and Youtube broadcasting
Cubigo’s Zoom integration gives programming directors an option to host virtual activities directly through the Cubigo platform. This ensures that residents can easily connect and participate in the virtual activities that are organized and stay connected to families and friends. Together with Cubigo’s new Video Scheduling feature communities can generate in-suite channel activities, from learning a new language to watching nature documentaries, while maintaining resident engagement during the recent resurgence of COVID-19. Communities can engage residents from the comfort and safety of their own room while keeping an easy overview of all content and participants.
